Ceremony Held for 9/11 Victims, Fallen Military
Bagpipes keened over the ocean Sunday from Park Semper Fi.
Marines, sailors, soliders, airmen and civilians gathered at Semper Fi Park Sunday to observe a moment of silence for the victims of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks. Bagpipes played over the ocean from the park during the ceremony as well.
With nearly 100 people in attendance, the ceremony was a solemn reminder of the many who were killed ten years ago, and the many since who gave their lives defending the nation.
