The San Clemente Celebration of Surf Music and Art Festival is a music, art, and surf expo hosted in San Clemente on the eve of the Hurley Pro. Proceeds from this event will go to benefit a wide array of local and ocean related charities including Surfers Healing, The San Onofre Foundation, FAM, The Boys and Girls Club, and many more. Food, beer and wine will be sold by local non profits like the Rotary, Kiwanis, Lions, and FAM as a fundraiser for their efforts throughout the year.
Bands include: Common Sense, Honk, Questions, SoLag Vibrations, and Mike Wilson
In addition to music and food there will be interactive surf industry and art expo featuring over 100 booths of artists, surf vendors like Hurley, Skullcandy, Rip Curl as well as local and ocean realted nonprofits. The San Onofre Foundation and the San Clemente High School Environmental club will also host a kids zone full of interactive experiences. The celebration will also include recognition throughout the night of contributors to surfing heritage past, present, and future.

More About Richard T. Steed Memorial Park
The Richard T. Steed Memorial park, located next to the Ralph's Skate Court, is named after the only San Clemente Police officer to be killed in the line of duty. The park boasts large baseball fields and a caged-in playground near home base. The facility also has a relatively large clubhouse and concession stand.
