Weekend in San Clemente: Cigars, Tunes and Cowboys

1. Fine cigar anyone? The 1st Annual Tony Carbonara Gentleman’s Smoker at Casa Romantica Sunday will include appetizers, dinner, dessert, beer, wine, spirits, finecigars – because who wants a bad one, readly – and live entertainment. 2. Weekend tunes: OC Tavern has the GrooveSesion from Ontario tonight. Knuckleheads has Rocky Road Saturday. Iva Lee’s has Theo & The Zydeco Patrol Saturday.

3. Saddle up: If you like rodeos, you may want to mosey on over to San Juan Capistrano, where rodeo-related events are happening all week, culminating in the Rancho Mission Viejo Rodeo next week. The kick-off BBQ is tonight 5-9 tonight at Hamilton Oaks Vineyard and Winery. Cost is $35 per person and includes food, valet parking and entertainment. 4. Summer’s no time to be hungry:  NorthStar Moving and Coldwell Banker are teaming up to promote a summer food drive. Food is being collected at the Coldwell Banker office in Capo Beach through Aug. 19.
