Free Grief Support Group Meeting on Thursday
Feb. 28th, 1pm-2pm, at San Clemente Villas
A free, Grief Support Group for adult children and families who have lost a loved one meets at San Clemente Villas, Thursday, Feb. 28th, 1pm-2pm.
Dr. Jane Mahakian, Ph.D., MFT, leads the meeting at the Villas to help people cope with the loss of a loved one and gain new strength and hope.
Group members share their experiences, feelings and emotions with others who are on the same journey. In the sharing, people often discover new ways of coping and begin to discover new strength and hope.
There is no fee to participate and light refreshments will be served.
Gerontologist Jane L. Mahakian, Ph.D., MFT, is previous director of Elder Care Programs at the University of California, San Francisco, and CEO/founder of Aging Matters, Inc.
Note—Later this same day, from 5:30pm-7pm, and also free, is a Memory Care Support Group meeting led by Dr. Mahakian at the Villas. This group helps people cope with the loss of a loved one and gain new strength and hope.
