A Player -- and a Family -- UCLA Coach Jim Mora Can Never Forget

UCLA Football coach Jim Mora is living out the saying, “Once a Bruin, Always a Bruin,” even if that Bruin’s life was cut tragically short after one single play on the field.

In a touching article with the Los Angeles Times, Nick Pasquale’s father, Mel, explains life since a car fatally struck his son as he walked down a San Clemente sidewalk during a bye week.

"On that first day [after the accident] he walked through our door, Coach Mora said, 'My support is not just for now. … This is not going to end,'" Mel told the Times. "And he was right. It has not ended."
