The Poche Beach 9/11 memorial that was vandalized on the eve of the event's anniversary this year will shine forth better than ever.
Locals and businesses have banded together to re-install the brick wall around the base of the unofficial monument, which vandals kicked apart this September.
But also, San Diego Gas & Electric is teaming with Metrolink and Rainbow Sandals to install a bigger and better light than the one that the vandals destroyed.
