Volunteers are needed at San Onofre State Beach on Saturday, April 14 for the 15th Annual California
State Parks Foundation’s Earth Day Restoration & Cleanup. Projects include San Mateo Trail improvements, replace interpretive signs and removal of non-native vegetation. California State Parks needs this annual
cleanup, especially at a time when continued budget cuts significantly delay or eliminate environmental improvement and maintenance projects. Individuals, groups or businesses interested in volunteering on Earth Day should register at calparks.org/earthday or call 1-888-98-PARKS.
