Food Truck Guide for Wednesday, Nov. 6 at San Clemente High

Bacon, bacon, bacon, bacon, and Singapore sloppy Joes, burgers, crepes and bacon.

Food trucks are on site at San Clemente High every Wednesday evening from 5:30-8:30. Here are the trucks this week:

Bacon Mania: Food like chili mac (with bacon), flash-fried spinach (with bacon) and something called The Rico, a half-pound, all-beef hot dog covered in caramelized onions, grilled jalapenos, and spicy chipayo sauce (and bacon).

Chomp Chomp Nation: Singapore Sloppy Joes (beef braised in coconut milk, lemongrass, etc.), coconut jam-stuffed French toast, chili crab cakes and something called tiger slaw make up this far out far east food truck's menu.

Crepes Bonaparte: Crepes, of course, both sweet and savory. The menu includes caprese, King Brie, and the Al Capone (fresh blackberries and sweetened mascarpone cheese topped with whipped cream and a chocolate drizzle).

Stuff It Burgers: Here's how they explain their concept: "We decided to infuse the burger and stuff it with various ingredients, from spinach, to cheese, to pastrami, to chili."

Tamarindo: Organic Mexican food. The concept is simple, Mexican street food: tortas, tacos, mariscos, quesadillas and aguas frescas (juices for you gringos).
