Food Truck Guide for Wednesday, Oct. 23 at San Clemente High

Everything from sliders to Korean BBQ to Mexican food. San Clemente High School has it all.

Food trucks are on site at San Clemente High every Wednesday evening from 5:30-8:30. Here are the trucks this week:

Calbi BBQ: A Mexican food/Korean BBQ mashup in the Kogi style. Look for short rib tacos, kimchi quesadillas and tofu burritos.

The Flip Truck: Sliders, sliders, sliders! We're talking red Angus beef from Montana and Kobe beef from Hawaii, along with organic fixin's. Try grilled brie and bacon sliders or vegetarian grilled cheese sliders.

Garlic Scapes: Garlic scapes are the shoots that garlic bulbs continuously sprout as they grow. So Garlic Scapes food truck is for serious garlic lovers. Garlic sausage, garlic potatoes, garlic brats. You get the idea.

The Tailgate Truck: The Tailgate burger, BBQ pulled pork sandwich, lemon herb chicken wrap and chili verde, with monthly specials.

Tamarindo: Organic Mexican food. The concept is simple, Mexican street food: tortas, tacos, mariscos, quesadillas and aguas frescas (juices for you gringos).
