Adoption fees at the San Clemente-Dana Point Animal Shelter are lowered through Dec. 15. It's closed Friday but open Saturday.

Didn't want to get in line at 4 a.m. for Black Friday deals? If you're looking for something more lovable than an iPad this year, get to the San Clemente-Dana Point Animal Shelter.

The shelter is reducing adoption fees though Dec. 15,

The Pet Project Foundation and San Clemente-Dana Point Animal Shelter are offering dog and cat adoptions at reduced prices: $50 for dogs and cats (dogs are typically $125 and cats, $100). The fee includes vaccinations, spay/neuter and microchip. Rabbits can be adopted for $25.

You will have to hold your horses until Saturday, though. The shelter is closed Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday.
