Avoid the I-5 Freeway at Camino de Estrella in San Clemente this weekend overnight, if possible; repairs will close various lanes overnight.
Nov. 30-Dec. 1, the inside lanes in both directions of the Estrella bridge will be closed for resurfacing from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., according to a release from the California Department of Transportation.
I-5 south's inside lane will be closed form 11 p.m.to 7 a.m., and the left two lanes will be closed 12-6 a.m. All southbound lanes will be closed 1-5 a.m. Traffic will be directed around the roadwork through the Estrella southbound off and onramps, the CalTrans announcment states.
Dec. 1-2, the inside lanes in both directions of the Estrella bridge will be closed for resurfacing from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

The right three lanes of I-5 north will be closed from 12-6 a.m Dec. 2, and the entire north I-5 at Estrella will be closed from 1-5 a.m.
