Octomom, Dad Says Rowdy Party Not His Fault, KISS Football Tryouts

Headlines making news around the county.

Nadya Suleman, the busy, busy, busy single mother of 14, has found herself in a spot of bother. Again.

The 38-year-old Octomom is due in a Los Angeles court later this week on a welfare fraud charge for allegedly failing to report nearly $30,000 in earnings from personal appearances and video residuals, reports Mission Viejo Patch. She was charged Jan. 6 with one count of aid by misrepresentation and two counts of perjury by false application by aid.

Suleman gained fame in 2009 when she gave birth to a healthy set of octuplets—and has been beset with problems since. She has 14 children. If convicted, she could be sentenced to more than five years behind bars.
