Skateboarder Remains in Coma, Kelly Thomas Case, Fukushima Fallout

A  15-year-old girl who remains hospitalized in a coma after suffering critical injuries in a San Clemente skateboarding accident. 

Madison "Maddi" Olson of Murrieta fell Jan. 5 while riding down a hill in San Clemente. Her skull was fractured, which required emergency brain surgery. As of Monday, her mother, Autumn Olson, wrote that doctors recommend keeping Maddi on life support for the time being.

"She's not ready. The swelling hasn't gone down enough to make changes," according to the post on the Facebook page, "Prayers 4 Maddi."
