Trash Schedules and Christmas Tree Pickup
CR&R, the waste hauler for San Clemente, has trash pickup schedules modified for the holidays and special instructions for Christmas tree disposal.
Trash and recycling pickup schedules in San Clemente will be changed for the holidays.
There was no trash pickup on Tuesday, Christmas Day, nor will there be on Jan. 1. Trash schedules for Christmas week and New Year's week will be moved ahead by one day, according to CR&R, San Clemente's waste contractor.
CR&R workers will collect discarded Christmas trees in San Clemente from Dec. 26 through the first weeks in January. They ask that residents place trees next to their trash and recycling containers on the usual pickup day.

Any trees more than six feet in length should be cut in half.
