Fans of Nick Pasquale tell drivers on the I-5 in San Clemente to not only remember him but emulate him as well.
Did you see it? Hanging over the I-5 Freeway at the Estrella interchange?
The sign invites you "Live like Nick."
Nick Pasquale, a former standout football player at San Clemente High School and a walk-on for the UCLA Bruins, died 1 1/2 weeks ago, struck by a car as he walked to his San Clemente home from a party.
UCLA had a bye that week and Pasquale, a graduate of the Class of 2012, was in town to visit family, watch a Tritons game and reconnect with friends.
The sign features the numbers he wore both for San Clemente and UCLA -- and Pop Warner.
