August Beach Concert Set for Thursday

From the city of San Clemente --

It’s time for another concert on the sand Aug. 9. The City of San Clemente invites you and your friends to spend an evening on the beach listening to live music by Rod Piazza and the Mighty Flyers playing Blues. The concert begins at 6 p.m. and concludes at sunset.

Fisherman’s Restaurant will be onsite selling a dinner plate for $8 which includes: BBQ ribs, chicken, baked beans, oriental salad, sourdough bread and a non-alcoholic beverage.

You won’t want to miss out on the fun, so plan to arrive early and be sure to bring your seat to sit comfortably on the sand underneath the sun. This is a free concert sponsored by the Friends of San Clemente Beaches, Parks and Recreation Foundation, the Fisherman’s Restaurant & Bar and the San Clemente Ocean Festival.

Mark your calendars in advance for the final concert in the series scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 23. Common Sense will perform their best Reggae music at 6 p.m.
