Neil Simon's Broadway Bound

The year is 1949. Eugene and his brother Stan are on the brink of success as comedy writers.

Set in the Jewish enclave of Brighton Beach, New York, Simon's “Broadway Bound” is nothing short of brilliant. The story is both rib-tickling and heart-wrenching; the Jerome family is at turns troubled, warm, and funny. The audience will feel the joys and sorrows of a bygone era when family and culture played a pivotal role in people’s lives. Simon's exquisite imagery and humor capture the love each of us harbors for our family but can lose sight of in our cluttered lives.
