Experts Share Secrets to Exercising, Dressing and Living Right at Feel Good 2012

The San Clemente Spiritual Center's Feel Good 2012 event brought belly dancing and health awareness for a day of inspirational speakers and positive vibes.

Drums were playing, hips were shaking and positive vibes were shared at Feel Good 2012:  A One Day Health and Wellness Event, held today at the San Clemente Spiritual Center on El Camino Real.

Organized by Diane Jaquet and Steve Tokeshi, Travel and Life Coaches and co-founders of Bardo Travel Coaching, the Feel Good 2012 event aimed simply to bring the community together and help people feel good in body, spirit and mind.

Local San Clemente and South Orange County health and wellness-focused organizations offered presentations and displays promoting healthy and positive living.  The event offered wellness seminars in various topics such as “How to Dress Your Body Like You Love It (Even If You Don’t)”, a seminar led by wardrobe coach, Nicole Longstreath. Similarly, San Clemente yoga teacher Samantha Smith offered a seminar called “Finding calm in the Midst of Chaos.”

Free belly dancing lessons were provided by professional belly dancer, Tina Enheduanna, giving attendees a chance to shake their stuff while getting in a healthy and fun workout.  Enheduanna ended the impromptu class with a special performance for her new students.

“There’s always so much to learn in belly dancing,” she said.

Feel Good 2012 aimed to encourage people to put their dreams into action, promoting “Now is the Best Time to Live Your Best Life!” on event flyers.

“We want this to be a community experience,” Jaquet said.  “We want this space to be a place where (wellness organizations) can network and where we can bring health and wellness awareness into the community.”

Jaquet said that the San Clemente community can expect to have more Feel Good events in the coming year.

“We want people to come here and experience the good vibes.”
