San Clemente High Stages 'Grease'
The classic Broadway hit will be the main attraction at San Clemente High School in mid-April.
You love the movie; now see the entire gang from GREASE onstage at San Clemente High School.
The spirited class of '59: hubcap stealing, hot rod loving boys and their gum chewing, wise cracking girls in bobby sox and pedal pushers will wow you with the No. 1 Greatest Musical of all time!
The Burger Palace Boys and the Pink Ladies take you for a joyride back to 1959 in San Clemente High School’s premier production of the classic rock-n-roll musical Grease, at one time the longest-running Broadway musical in history!
Songs include “Summer Lovin,’” “We Go Together,” “Beauty School Dropout,” and “Greased Lightnin’” among many others. You’ll go to the pajama party with Sandy and Rizzo; pile into the trunk and ride to the drive-in movie with Danny, Kenickie and the guys!

The themes of teenage love, friendship, and rebellion make up this fun-loving musical. The characters go through their senior school year at Rydell High trying to fit in, have fun and support each other through good times and not-so-good times. Ultimately, the kids learn that they will always Go Together – because one thing that does last is friendship.
So throw your mittens around your kittens and hand-jive the night away with the show that will make you want to shout, “A-wop-bop-a-loo-bop A-wop-bam-boom!”

In addition to a stellar 80-student cast and crew, Grease features: Meghan Cappon (senior) as Sandy, Rob Racke (senior) as Danny, Kendall Reynolds (senior) as Rizzo, Mason Burt (junior) as Kenickie, Katherine Morales (junior) as Jan, Leah Blanks (junior) as Marty, Daniel Klevit (freshman) as Roger, Ryan Steel (senior) as Sonny, Gabby Meyer (junior) as Frenchy, and Chandler Hull (senior) as Doody.
San Clemente High School Theatre Boosters presents its annual musical, Grease. The show opens Thursday, April 18 at 6:30 pm at the San Clemente High School Triton Center, 700 Avenida Pico, All ages are welcome.
Performances: April 18, 19, 20, 24, 25, 26 – 2013. Curtain @ 6:30pm
Tickets: $ 12/adult, $ 10/students & senior citizens (There will be a $5 student preview on April 17th at 6:30 – students with a valid school ID may bring one adult).
