3-Car Crash Triggers SigAlert on the 5 Freeway

At least one person was hospitalized in a pile up that triggered a SigAlert on the northbound 5 Freeway at El Camino Real

A three-care crash on the northbound Golden State (5) Freeway has triggered a SigAlert.

At least one person was injured, and the fast lane remains blocked following a pile up on the northbound side of the freeway just south of El Camino Real, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash happened at the center divider just after 12:40 p.m. Sunday. The three cars involved include a silver Mercedes, a silver Mitsubishi, and a gray Toyota. The extent of the injuries and the cause of the accident are still under investigation.
