Animal Shelter Raises Fees

The San Clemente-Dana Point Animal Shelter is raising license fees for dogs; fees for senior animal adopters and for dogs that are spayed or neutered remain lower.

The San Clemente-Dana Point Animal Shelter is modifying its license fee schedule beginning Monday, according to a press release from the city of San Clemente.

The following are the new fees for dogs that are spayed or neutered and dogs which are not. The shelter is no longer providing a discount on its three-year licensing fee. The schedule continues special pricing for seniors interested in adopting animals.

Dogs left un-spayed or neutered:

  • 1 year - $50.00 (from $30.00)
  • 2 year - $100.00 (from $60.00)
  • 3 year - $150.00 (from $80.00)

Spayed or neutered:

  • 3 year - $45.00 (from $40.00)

Senior Prices

Spayed or neutered dogs:

  • 3 year - $24.00 (from $20.00)

 

Un-spayed or neutered dogs:

  • 3 year - $45.00 (from $40.00)
