BeachFires Close to Finalize Sale, Remodel

The restaurants on Del Mar in San Clemente and in Ladera Ranch are set to be closed for 30 days.

According to the BeachFire website, Dave Donaldson, owner of the BeachFire restaurants in Ladera Ranch and San Clemente, has sold the businesses to two different owners.

The restaurants will be closed for a month while the sales are finalized and the restaurants remodeled.

Donaldson said in a letter on the BeachFire website:

BeachFire is not done and as I like to say, we’re just getting started. But things have changed significantly and will continue to change. During the transition, both BeachFire locations will be closed for approximately 30 days starting immediately for remodeling and completion of the ownership sales.  I regret the abrupt and sudden closing and know it will undoubtedly create undue hardships for our employees and communities. This has been a difficult decision made with great reflection and thought, along with professional advice and support. The closing allows for the completion of the sales and the necessary remodeling and improvements that will preserve the strength and future of the brand.
