Need to get out of the house this New Year's Eve? There are lots of great spots in San Clemente to celebrate, most of which have some sort of menu special or drink deals. Here are a few:
Iva Lee's New Year's Masquerade -- The southern cuisine restaurant is offering a dinner and dance for $65.
The Shore -- The bar/restaurant on Del Mar is offering happy hour prices all day and night and a free glass of champagne. Rod Frias and the Pistons will provide musical entertainment.
OC Tavern -- The Tavern will have a DJ spinning starting about 10 p.m. with no cover and drink specials on tap.
Beach Fire -- The Beach Fire will offer patrons a free champagne at midnight with party favors. Bad Leroy Brown will provide entertainment.
The Cellar -- As of late Monday morning, the wine and cheese restaurant was booked up for the evening, accepting only bar walk-ups. The in-house pianist will provide music.
And remember, there's never any reason to drive drunk; especially when the Orange County Transportation Authority offers free bus rides.
