Metrolink Adds Extra Trains to Beach Cities

This summer extra trains will be running from San Bernardino to San Clemente on weekends.

Metrolink will again offer what the agency bills as "wildly popular" extra weekend trains to Orange County's southern beaches this summer, officials have announced.

Starting July 7, Metrolink will add four summer round-trips on Saturdays and Sundays from Los Angeles Union Station to Oceanside, with stops a shuttle bus away from Disneyland, and along the beaches in southern Orange County. Extra trains will also run from San Bernardino through Riverside to San Clemente and Oceanside. Fares are simple and cheaper than some oceanside parking lots: adults pay $10 for a weekend pass.

An extra weekend round-trip will also be added from the Inland Empire to Laguna Niguel and a train from Fullerton to Laguna Niguel. For more information and new scheduling information visit www.metrolinktrains.com
