The $9 million renovation and expansion of the El Camino Real Ralphs grocery store is nearing completion.
The store is aiming for an Aug. 3 opening, according to a company spokeswoman.
"There is something in every corner of the store they're working to finish up," said Ralphs spokeswoman Kendra Doyel.
She said the Aug. 3 opening date is tentative; the firm doing the renovation, AGI General Contracting, could still run into delays.
Workers Friday were pouring the concrete sidewalks that will line El Camino Real along the Ralphs property frontage.
The small strip mall on the property was demolished to add parking and make way for the expansion.
