OC Tavern and Ole's Tie in Official S.C. Drink Contest
The San Clemente Chamber hosted 11 entrants who mixed their cocktails at Sunsets at the Pier.
and tied in Thursday's Official Drink of San Clemente contest at Sunsets at the Pier.
The hosted the annual bash at the new bar on Avenida Victoria. Eleven entrants participated in the packed contest.
A panel of judges, including , scored the drinks. Evert kept a beer handy for in between cocktails, as did many of the attendees. Except for the author of this article, who was regrettably on the clock.

Winning mixologists were Kirsten Garber of OC Tavern for her Gin and Berries and Ole's Yvonne Kimball's with her Poche Punch. Ole's also won for best presentation.
The drink called Sally Sells Sea Shells by the Sea Shore by Sally Daniel of won the people's choice award.
