San Clemente's Newest Tattoo and Piercing Shop Opens

Although still under construction, Ink Gallery parties on.

San Clemente’s newest addition to the tattoo world has arrived at 139 Avenida Granada. Ink Gallery celebrated it’s “soft” opening Sunday, as the building is still under construction. A few art pieces were hung on the newly painted white walls as guests also enjoyed music from the cover band After Party.

Ink Gallery will be officially open in a few weeks after construction is finished.

“We thought we might as well have a party to let everyone know we’re here,” said Co-owner Ryan Striley. “We will have all different artists from around the world visit our shop.”

Not only will the shop have multiple rooms dedicated to either tattoo’s or piercings, but it will also feature a gallery dedicated to local and non-local artists.

“San Clemente hasn’t had any tattoo shops,” said San Clemente resident Derek Gibby. “I think this will be a great thing for the city.”

Co-owners Ryan Striley and Aaron Andrew have a vision of a clean and relaxing environment for San Clemente.

“The city wanted to make sure we followed every requirement,” said Andrew. “They were really nice and helpful.”

opened earlier this year on South El Camino Real. Before that opening, there were no tattoo shops in San Clemente.
