The eggs Benedict breakfast at Surferosa Cafe (in the old Love's Restaurant Location) is both huge and inexpensive at $6.50. The chef makes sure the yolks are perfectly done so that when you cut into them, the yolk material seeps flows out in a form that even master chefs would appreciate. Plus, you get choices of toast and bountiful hash browns. There's a widely varying choice of breakfasts from Mexican ones, HASH (yummy), chicken fried steak and rib eyed breakfasts and more. There's pancakes including Belgian, Pecan, Blueberry. There's also Banana waffles, Omelettes in 7 styles, from Veggie, Denver, California, ABC and four more. Try skillet breakfasts, or breakfast burritos and skillets from veggie to bacon. Enjoy burritos, breakfast sandwiches and burritos, oatmeal, fruit and many side dishes. And there's even an ocean view from almost every table...this Surferosa Cafe is now NOTHING like the old Love's restaurant because the new owner completely redid the interior and made the outside patio now a GREAT place to dine. How do I know all this? Because my husband, Bill Koelzer and I dine there all the time, 2-3 times a week, even taking clients there for meetings since we know we can COUNT ON the food and service being great.

okay Debbi your review seems honest but there are no ocean views at Surfarosa.

You perhaps have not been there since the new owner had the neighbor trim the big palm trees in the back of the restaurant. Now one can see the ocean from nearly every inside table and even some patio ones. Go there, Lindsey, and take a look, and then report back here what you saw. You will love it.

The Beach Garden Cafe wins hands down. No better place in town. The Beach Garden Cafe needs to be added to the list for voting. The Beach Garden Cafe is best visited when the tourists are gone. Why my enthusiasm for The Beach Garden Cafe, well the secret is in the service and the home fries. The best service and the best home fries. The view is pretty good too. Ocean View and if you want blueberry pancakes, they have them. Cheers to The Beach Garden Cafe!!

I added Adele's and Beach Garden Cafe to the poll as of 2:18 p.m. March 28. Votes duly noted.

OMG you are right! I went by on my way home and there are ocean views now. From the sounds of your review the owner must have improved on his menu and cooking style. First and last time I ate there it was disgusting. Maybe I should give it another go. I live a few blocks from Surferosa. I love what the owners have done with the place. I hope they succeed.
