Cool, Gray Weekend in Store

There's a 20 percent chance of rain all weekend in San Clemente and San Juan Capistrano.

Cloudy skies, cooler weather and gusty winds will return to Orange County Friday before another possibly wet weekend.

Light snow is possible above 6,500 feet Friday and Saturday, although National Weather Service forecasters said they don't expect it to stick. Another system could bring more rain and mountain snow Sunday into Monday.

Weather Service meteorologists are unsure whether that cold, low pressure system will make its way into Orange County. Even if the storm stays away, expect a cool, grey weekend, they said.

There's a 20 percent chance of showers in San Juan Capistrano all weekend, starting Friday night. Highs will be in the low 60s with nighttime temperatures in the upper 40s.

Fairer, warm weather will return to Southern California on Monday.
