CRIME: Bank Fistfight, Naked Chemical Sniffer

The following are reports compiled from the San Clemente Police Services dispatch log over the last few days.

At 1:40 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a homeless man flashing his private parts on Avenida Palizada and Marquita. The 60 year-old homeless man was also urinating on the plot and wearing a hat, black long sleeve shirt, and long blue pants with the left pant leg torn off. 

At 11:14 a.m. Saturday, deputies responded to a Bank of America Security call on Avenida Presidio and Avenida Victoria. A man and the bank manager engaged in a physical fight later involving other employees trying to separate the two men. The call came from an alarm button in the office as another caller reported to deputies that the man wearing blue-checkered shirt attacked the manger. It is unknown if weapons were involved. 

At 8:19 p.m. Friday, a caller reported a suspicious person on E Avenida Pico in a restaurant parking lot. The caller saw a 40 year-old man stuff an 11 year-old boy into the trunk of a white Lexus with plates 6SFM261. The man was seen leaving the restaurant with the boy who wouldn’t eat and got upset, making the boy enter the vehicle through the trunk and left to plot onto Pico towards La Pada. 

At 7:40 p.m. Friday, a caller reported a disturbance on Felipe. The caller heard a 20-year-old man arguing with his parents and could hear items being smashed. The caller was concerned because the father is in a wheelchair. 

At 10:13 a.m. Friday, a caller walking her dog reported a woman following her on Calle Escuela and Calle del Juego. The caller told deputies that the woman was  following her in a grey Lexus and accusing her of letting her dog pee on the her lawn. 

At 10:20 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 100 block of Calle Altea. Deputies reportedly detained a naked man who had been seen huffing chemicals near an athletic club. The subject was detained and firefighters transported the man to San Clemente Hospital.
