You've been too busy to scout for the best options or check out what's playing, doing and happening this weekend.  Patch's new Get Out feature is the solution. Each week, we collect the very best in weekend options. But we can't do it alone.

Where/When: 111 W. Avenida Palizada; Saturday, 10 p.m.-1:50 a.m.

Why Go: DJs Jason Blakemore, SubFreq and JahDj will be there pumping dub and house beats, plus the bar is offering a free shuttle service to San Clemente, Dana Point and San Juan Capistrano so you aren’t tempted to drive drunk. The weekly DJ event started in January with Jackie’s 23rd-birthday celebration; .

Where/When: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, , 415 Avenida Granada.

Why Go: This exhibition explores how many everyday products began life as innovations for the space program. It tells the story of manned space flight and includes an authentic Apollo space suit, equipment used by astronauts that can be handled. On display are photographs of space walks, the international space station and stunning photographs from the Hubble space telescope.

Where/When: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Avenida del Mar. 

Why go: The Village Art Fair along San Clemente’s downtown drag hosts an interesting spectrum of arts and crafts—jewelry, ceramics, wood, metals, photography, fine art, handblown and fused glass, handmade children’s clothing, home and garden items and other cool stuff for sale. This event is the first Sunday of every month but January.

Where/When:12:30 p.m. Sunday, 34675 Golden Lantern, Dana Point.

Why Go: No reservations are required. Learn new fishing techniques and hook-tying tips. A half-day fishing trip starts immediately after the clinic.
