Surfer Greg Long Wins Big Wave World Tour
The San Clemente wave master is crowned champion after making the finals in three surfing events.
San Clemente surfer Greg Long won this year’s Big Wave World Tour, according to media reports.
Long, who nearly drowned in December, was a finalist in three of BWWT's five scheduled events (competitions in Baja California and Chile were canceled because of poor wave conditions), according to GrindTV.com.
Last year's champion was Peter Mel of Santa Cruz.
