City Celebrates Veterans Day at Park Semper Fi

Members of the community and all Veterans and their families are invited to commemorate Veterans Day on Saturday, November 10th at Noon at the Marine Monument at Park Semper Fi located in the Pier Bowl.


The ceremony will honor our nation’s Veterans and San Clemente’s Adopted Marine Corps Unit, the 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines, 5th Marine Regiment.

Lieutenant Colonel Robert S. Weiler, Commanding Officer, 2/4, 5th Marines will serve as the guest speaker. Pete Jacobs and his Wartime Radio Revue will provide musical entertainment.


Following the ceremony at Park Semper Fi, join retired and active duty Marines and their families for the United States Marine Corps 237th Birthday Cake Cutting Ceremony from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Dorothy Visser Senior Center located at 117 Avenida Victoria in San Clemente.
