Share your opinions about the role of technology in education! Speak Up Surveys open through Dec. 20th

Participate in Speak Up,
a National Research Project, and share your ideas about how to leverage
technology in schools to promote better learning. Over 200,000 students,
educators, parents and members of the community have already participated this
year! Now’s your chance to join in on the conversation— the online surveys are
open through Dec. 21st. It’s quick and easy to get involved! 

To take the
survey, visit http://www.speakup4schools.org/speakup2013 - pick your survey (educator,
parent, student, community member), look up your school or a school in the local community. Students will be required to enter in the (secret word) password: su4ca

Surveys take about 20
minutes to complete and is open to anyone interested in having a voice on current educational technology trends. Data is then returned back to schools and districts with
national comparison in feb 2014. National data is used to create reports
presented at 2 congressional briefing in the spring. Speak Up data has been
cited most recently in NASBE's latest Report, Time Magazine, SETDA reports and
included in the U. S. Department of Education's -Education Resources
Information Center (ERIC). Data is also used by 27 state education departments

Since 2003, over 3
million K-12 education stakeholders have participated in the annual Speak Up
National Research Project which collects and reports on the authentic,
unfiltered views and opinions of K-12 students, parents and educators on critical
21st century education issues. Speak Up is facilitated by Project Tomorrow® (www.tomorrow.org), national education nonprofit.
Data findings are shared each year with federal, state and local policymakers
to inform education programs and funding.
