What’s open and closed on Veterans Day in San Clemente? We’ve got the answer.

Today, we honor all of our military veterans who gave their service to protect our country and preserve our freedom.

Many private businesses will be open Monday for the Veterans Day holiday. CC&R will pick up trash according to its regular schedule.

But if you want to mail a letter, cash a check or use government services, you’ll have to wait a day.

What’s closed:

City Hall (we’re pretty sure, but there’s no mention of it on the city website)

Schools, both the Capistrano Unified School District and private schools. Have a nice day off, kids (and do your homework)

Banks

The feds, including the post office.
