SC Jewish Center Dedicates New Sacred Text

Chabad of San Clemente, the local Jewish center, dedicated its new Torah Sunday morning; a cause for celebration.
The huge, handwritten scroll that bears the first five books of the Old Testament is a sacred and expensive item, one of the most valuable posessions of the synagogue which owns it.
During the dedication ceremony Sunday at the Casablanca Inn in North Beach, each member of the synagogue added one of the final letters to the Torah, with the help of a professional scribe.
