A memorial service for UCLA football player Nick Pasquale is scheduled for 4 p.m. Sunday at San Clemente Presbyterian Church.
Pasquale died Sunday morning after being struck by a car as he walked home after a party. The San Clemente native was home for the weekend because the Bruins had a bye.
The Pasquale family has set up a foundation in Nick’s name. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations there.

Donations will ultimately go to student athletes who are lot like Nick was, “who demonstrate extreme effort and leadership on their sport’s team,” the website states.
The foundation will also seek to aid sports-oriented charities and athletes in need of financial support.

“Nick ultimately wanted to be a firefighter, or a career that helps others. It is our desire to carry on Nick’s legacy by helping similar athletes who have demonstrated great leadership,” the website states.
San Clemente Pres is located at 119 Avenida de la Estrella.
A page is set up at the foundation website for those who want to share a testimonial of their time with Nick.
