Best Home Buys in San Clemente

Our picks for this week's outstanding values.

If you’re in the market for a home in San Clemente, how do you pick one to buy?

There are 401 homes currently for sale and another 151 in escrow taking “backup” offers. (While that may seem like a lot of homes for sale, it’s actually about 85 fewer than usual for this time of year.)

Of course, every buyer has his or her own special criteria for that perfect home–number of bedrooms and baths, square footage, view, proximity to schools and shopping, etc. Some buyers want to see only “standard sale” homes and rule out properties that have “special conditions” such as short sales, or bank owned.

But many shoppers are just looking for a great value, regardless of such factors.

So I collaborated with some of my colleagues to choose three “best buys” currently available in San Clemente. These MLS-listed homes are viewed by us as having excellent value in three price ranges, regardless of special conditions.

These aren’t the only great deals in San Clemente, just three that grabbed our attention this week.

While all three were for sale as of this writing, great deals tend to go quickly.
