Zagat Reviews Only 7 San Clemente Restaurants. How About You?

Patch is asking our users to pickup where the experts left off in their scant review selection from town.

Over the past week, we wrote about how the famed Zagat restaurant guide book all but completely snubbed Orange County, reviewing only 69 restauraunts.

Zagat reviewed only seven in San Clemente, including the new a sister restaurant to Nick's on Del Mar. Reviews also included the Sun Dried Tomato, Iva Lee's and Ichibiri, among others.

So at San Clemente Patch, we want our users to pick up where the pros left off and tell us your favorite restaurants.

Here's a link to our restaurant directory for your perusal. (Also, if you see any out-of-date listings for retaurants that have closed or missing listings for ones that have opened, email listings@patch.com and let us know.)

Also in the listings, our Readers' Choice winners will be marked.

What are your favorite dishes there? How's the service? What's the type of fare? Tell us in the comments.

I'm a San Clemente resident and spent half a dozen years writing restaurant reviews for groups of community newspapers and/or magazines when living in the Los Angeles/Beverly Hills areas. At present, I write travel non-fiction articles, and newsletter or articles for health and wellness publications. I'd LOVE to offer these services to San Clemente (I also do my own photography). You can reach me at patricia@hsascuba.com.
