We don’t think this is what Verizon meant by connecting.

A motorist drove her vehicle into the Verizon store at 638 Camino de Los Mares this morning.

Deputies received a call from the driver herself at 7:53 a.m., according to the Orange County Sheriff's blotter. There were no injuries reported.

San Clemente resident Cole Mobley said the driver was “shaken up.”

“Greg Jones, a Starbucks patron located a few doors down, assisted the driver from the car,” Mobley said.

Patch will provide more details as they become available.

Ha! As no one was hurt, this really does call for a fun caption.
