CRIME REPORTS: Drivers Hit Kid and Cyclist, Crack Pipes in Del Taco

Here are various reports pulled from the San Clemente Police Services dispatch log over the past few days.

At 9:17 p.m. on Monday at Avenida La Pata and Vista Hermosa, a caller reported a navy blue vehicle hitting a 13 year-old skateborder and then fleeing the scene. The child accidentally fell into the street when the vehicle struct the child. The vehicle was last seen heading towards the mountains. No serious injuries or further details were reported.

 At 10:25 p.m. on Monday at 1000 block Calle Del Cerro, a caller reported a loose gray-and-white dog chasing them up a hill. No further details were reported.

At 1:17 p.m. on Tuesday at Camino La Pedriza and Cristianitos, a caller reported a kids starting a fire on the Cristianitos trail. No further details were reported.

 At 6:56 p.m. on Tuesday at Calle De Industrias and Avenida Pico, a caller reported a black Ford Mustang who ran into a bicyclist. No one was injured but the bicyclist was mad at the caller and left the scene. No serious injuries were reported.

 At 11:48 a.m. on Wednesday at 100 block Via Pico Plaza, a caller reported a white woman about 25 years with orange hair, red lipstick with piercings and a black flower in her hair dealing drugs in the parking lot of Del Taco. It’s a reoccurring problem with the same woman uses heroin and leaves crack pipes in the Del Taco bathroom.

 At 8:39 p.m. on Wednesday at 300 block Calle Dorado, a caller reported her daughter chasing her with a camera and closed the door on her arm causing injury. No further details were reported.

 At 3:34 p.m. on Thursday at 2400 block El Camino Real, a caller reporter the keys to his taxi stolen through an open window at Seaview Motel. The caller thinks the keys were taken by a customer who was a 25 year old man wearing a light colored golfer hat, brown jacket, blue jeans and had a Boston accent.
