CRIME: Burglaries, Road Rage

These are selected reports from the San Clemente Police Services dispatch log throughout the past few days.

At 11:23 p.m. Thursday, deputies arrested a 50-year-old man in the 3000 Block Avenida De Presidente after assisting an outside agency. He is being kept in custody.

At 9:46 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a burglary in progress in the 3000 Block Rosalinda. The caller returned home and found that someone had her back door open. She said that she will be waiting outside in her blue van and that her English bulldog is hiding under the couch in the living room.

At 7:12 p.m. Thursday, deputies arrested a 50-year-old woman in the 0 Block Avenida Junipero after assisting an outside agency. She is currently being kept in custody.

At 6:18 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a disturbance in the East Avenida Pico and Camino Celosia intersection. The caller said that he was being followed by a road rage subject who threatened to kill him.

At 5:36 p.m. Thursday, an informant in the 0 Block Calle Mattis called to require a welfare check on his neighbor. The informant was just at her house and thinks she tried to overdose again because her speech was slurred and she seemed depressed. She told the informant that she would throw herself out the plate glass window at the back of the house if police or paramedics responded.

At 3:21 p.m. Wednesday, deputies arrested a 52-year-old woman in the North El Camino Real and Marquita intersection after being pulled over. She was cited and released.

At 2:07 p.m. Wednesday, an informant in the 0 Block Via Cuenta Nueva reported that she found a knife in her mailbox.

At 8:50 a.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a burglary in progress in the 1800 Block El Camino Real. The caller thought that the vacant Miramar Theatre was being broken into and saw two males who looked to be in their 30’s with brown skin and flannel shirts with no construction trucks going into the back door.

At 12:09 a.m. Wednesday, deputies arrested a 41-year-old man in the 2100 Block Calle Ola Verde after a 9-1-1 hang up. The man was cited and released.
