CRIME: People 'Pretending to be Ghosts' in Apartment

These are various reports from the San Clemente Police Services dispatch log from over the past few days.

At 9:33 a.m. Friday, a caller reported a burglary on the 100 block of Avenida Ramona.

At 3:19 a.m. Friday, a caller from the 2400 block of El Camino Real reported that a young man in a black hoodie knocked on the door and ran off.

At 10:44 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a burglary on the 100 block of Avenida Carmelo.

At 6:55 p.m. Thursday, deputies arrested a 34-year-old man, one of two men walking around the neighborhood in the 200 block of Avenida San Gabriel in suits.

At 6:03 p.m. Thursday, deputies arrested a patient released from Saddleback Medical Center on the 600 block of Camino de los Mares. The suspect refused to leave after he was discharged and was causing a disturbance.

At 5:22 p.m. Thursday, deputies responded to a traffic accident on the I-5 freeway north of Avenida Pico.

At 12:58 p.m. Thursday, a vehicle smashed into a tree on the 800 block of Avenida Pico.

At 12:07 p.m. Thursday, a caller from the 2100 block of Via Aguila reported an 18-year-old man in fatigues and a stocking cap screaming as if he were crazy.

At 4:51 a.m., Thursday a woman called 911 from near the intersection of La Esperanza and Calle Cortez. She told the dispatcher she was hearing voices of people in her apartment pretending to be ghosts. She then hung up on the dispatcher.

At 1:54 a.m. Thursday, a caller from the 200 block of Via Presa reported a burglary.

At 6:41 p.m. Wednesday, a caller from the 5600 block of Costa Maritima reported people throwing water balloons and damaging cars.

At 3:49 p.m., a caller from the 200 block of Avenida Del Mar reported a 19-year-old woman screaming obscenities outside of the San Clemente Branch Library.
