CRIME REPORTS: Woman Drops Pants, Son Loses Pot

These are selected reports from the San Clemente Police Services dispatch log throughout the past few days.

At 3:39 a.m. Tuesday, deputies assisted firefighters in the 300 block of Plaza Estival. The report stated that an elderly man needed assistance after he became trapped by a reclining chair that had tipped over. Firefighters had to forcibly enter the home because the door was locked. 

At 1:29 a.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 700 block of Via Barracuda. The report stated there was a loud party in progress at the Pacific Point Apartments and one subject was taken into custody after becoming violent. 

At 10:36 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a suspicious person in the 600 block of Via Merluza. The informant was reportedly upset about a man that was running around the area with a potato gun. The informant could hear loud pops and reported potatoes being scattered around vehicles. 

At 10:02 p.m. Monday, deputies arrested a 47-year-old man near the Trafalgar and El Camino Real intersection. The report stated that a man with an existing warrant was walking around with an excessive blood alcohol level. He was taken into custody and bail was set for $30,000.

At 7:28 p.m. Monday, deputies were called to conduct a welfare check on a traffic hazard near the South El Camino Real and Victoria intersection. The report stated that a local transient woman was standing in the middle of the street with a walker and was refusing to move. 

At 2:22 p.m. Monday, a caller reported an indecent exposure in the 600 block of Camino De Los MAres. The report stated that a woman in her late 20s with reddish brown curly hair was acting lewd in front of the Stator Bros. grocery store. The report stated the woman had her pants down and was seen lifting up her skirt. 

At 8:41 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 100 block of La Ronda. The report stated there an apartment complex party in progress and multiple people were driving around the parking lot intoxicated. 

At 11:20 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 100 block of Avenida Del Mar. The report stated that multiple people were seen urinating in the alleyway adjacent to Nomad’s restaurant. 

At 4:36 p.m. Saturday, an informant reported a family dispute in the 100 block of Calle Amistad. The informant reported that their 25-year-old son had become extremely upset because he could not find his marijuana. 

At 12:34 a.m. Saturday, deputies were called to investigate a person down near the Avenida Rosa and El Camino Real intersection. The report stated that a man was seen passed out near the Starbucks parking lot. Firefighters were responding to the call.
