CRIME REPORTS: Ant-Covered T-Shirt, Rat Feces and Alcohol

These are various reports pulled from the San Clemente Police Services dispatch log over the past few days.

At 6:34 p.m.  Monday, a caller reported a loud noise disturbance at the cross streets of West Pas De Cristobal and Esplanade. Numerous minors in several vehicles were playing loud music and loitering. There was no reported arrest. 

At 6:08 p.m. Monday, police conducted a welfare check. Police were given information from an informant that a 12-year-old-boy and a nine-year-old-girl were sleeping in a room with broken glass and rat feces. Police provided no additional information. 

At 1:24 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a disturbance on the first block of Finca. The caller said there were people repairing a vehicle in the street and the vehicle's fluids were running down the storm drain.

At 10:52 p.m. Sunday, a caller said they heard several gunshots near the cross streets of Calle Sarmentoso and Via Solona. 

At 7:01 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a disturbance from the Albertsons on the 800 block of Avenida Pico. A group of men in their 20’s came into the store, and one of them sprayed an employee with something that hurt his lungs. The suspects left and were not seen again.

At 6:34 a.m. Sunday, a caller reported a disturbance from the 600 block of Camino De Los Mares. A homeless man threw a wet t-shirt covered with ants at a woman in the San Clemente Hospital. The woman asked him to leave, but he later returned. 

At 3:34 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a drunk driver from the cross streets of south El Camino Real and Avenida Presidio. The subject was seen driving a black Honda while drinking a beer. Police made no reported no arrest.

At 3:25 a.m. Saturday, a caller investigated a person down on the 2200 block of El Camino Real. An intoxicated man with blond hair was laying on the ground in front of the 7Eleven.  

At 10:14 p.m. Friday, a caller reported that a group of men were drunk in a car near the cross streets of Camino De Los Mares and Calle Agua. The men were in the Stater Brothers parking lot and kept falling down while trying to get into a silver Jaguar. 

At 8:28 p.m. Friday, a caller reported a disturbance on the 600 block of Avenida Victoria. A man in his late 50‘s was seen walking with a bull dog a buying beer for several minors. The minors were later seen hiding in bushes and drinking the beer. Police made no reported arrest.
