CRIME REPORTS: Grocery Store Tweakers; Warrant Arrests

These are selected reports from the San Clemente Police Services dispatch log throughout the past few days.

At 11:07 p.m. Thursday, deputies were called to investigate a person down in the 600 block of Camino De Los Mares. The report stated that a person was seen passed out inside a large cardboard box. Firefighters were responding because the informant was not sure if the subject was alive.

At 9:14 p.m. Thursday, deputies arrested an 18-year-old man in the 1000 block of Calle Del Cerro. The report stated the man had a warrant out for his arrest and was seen doing graffiti. The man was taken into custody and there was no posted bail amount. 

At 5:34 p.m. Thursday, deputies arrested an 18-year-old girl in the 700 block of Camino De Los Mares. The report stated the girl had a warrant out for her arrest and was driving a vehicle under the influence of drugs. The girl was additionally in possession of illegal narcotics.

At 8:27 p.m. Wednesday, deputies arrested a 23-year-old man near the Avenida Del Mar and Ola Vista intersection. The report stated the man was on probation and was acting very strange. He was taken into custody and bail was set for $50,000. 

At 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a disturbance near the east Avenida Pico and Camino Vera Curz intersection. The report stated that a woman and two men were aggressively harassing people for people for money near a Mobil Gas Station.

At 9:50 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a prowler in the 3100 block of Inclinado. The informant witnessed a man with a shaved head wandering around their neighborhood and looking into windows. The subject was seen driving a white Honda Prius. 

At 8:24 p.m. Tuesday, deputies arrested a 22-year-old woman in the 900 block of El Camino Real. The woman was detained with two other subjects at the Ralph’s grocery store. Deputies report the subjects were “tweakers.” The woman was taken into custody and bail was set for $145,000.

At 8:06 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a disturbance near the Vista Del Mar. The report stated that a local transient woman was intoxicated near Baskin Robbins and was hitting a citizen’s vehicle with her cane. There was no report of an arrest 

At 1:46 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 200 block of El Camino Real. The report stated that a local transient woman was harrassing citizens near Antonie's Cafe. The woman appeared to be verbal and argressive.
