CRIME REPORTS: Beach Trail Lewdness, Cat Shootings, Transients Kick in Doors

These are various reports pulled from the San Clemente Police Services dispatch log over the past few days.

At 4 a.m. Tuesday morning, a caller reported a disturbance in the 1300 block of Calle Valle. According the the report, a group of transients were in the industrial complex making lots of noise and possibly kicking out bathroom doors. This has been an ongoing issue.  

At 9:47 p.m. Monday, police were called to assist a citizen in the 100 block of Escalones. The citizen reported their neighbor had shot their cat with a pellet gun. 

At 8:15 p.m. Monday, police responded to a traffic hazard at the Avenida Pico and I-5 Freeway intersection. There was an unoccupied white BMW blocking two traffic lanes.

At 7:26 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a drunk driver in the 600 block of Caminante. There was a woman in her late 20s to early 30s who appeared to be intoxicated driving a yellow convertible Jeep.

At 2:19 p.m. Monday, a 24-year-old woman was arrested near the South El Camino Real and Avenida Granada intersection. The woman was disturbing the peace and caused damage to a white Nissan truck in the parking lot next to . She took off heading south on El Camino Real and was detained in the parking lot where she was cited and released.

At 1:25 a.m. Monday, police arrested a 26-year-old-man in the 600 block of Camino De Los Mares for traffic violations. According to the report, he was fluctuating speeds and almost got into several traffic collisions. The man was cited and released.

At 7:59 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 600 block of Camino De Los Mares. There was a transient man laying in front of the and was disturbing people. This has been a recurring issue. 

At 7:41 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a traffic hazard in the 1600 block of El Camino Real. There has been an ongoing issue with a man standing in front of waving a sign which defames the business.

At 7:06 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported an indecent exposure near the West Avenida Portal and Buena Vista intersection. There was a tattooed man masturbating into a cup on the  

At 6:16 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported illegal peddling in the first block of Via Belleza. There was a man asking for money to help children who have a fear of public speaking.
