CRIME REPORTS: Fat Guy Flips Bird, Another Drunk Underwear Teen

These are selected reports from the San Clemente Police Services dispatch log throughout the past few days.

At 1:48 a.m. Friday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 1800 block of El Camino Real. The report stated that a taxi driver and their passenger had gotten into a heated verbal argument in the 7-Eleven parking lot. 

At 10:56 p.m. Thursday, deputies were called to a report of unknown trouble in the 2400 block of Ola Vista. The report stated there was a drunk minor between the ages of 14 and 15 asking people for help. The minor was wearing nothing but their underwear and was eventually released to their parents. 

At 6:24 p.m. Thursday, deputies were called to investigate a person down in the 3100 block of El Camino Real. The report stated that a man had fallen down and smacked his head on a curb near the San O Mart in the south side of town. The subject was bleeding from the back of the head and was non-responsive. Firefighters were responding to the call.

At 3:56 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a petty theft in the 600 block of Camino De Los Mares. The report stated that a group of transients came into the Starbucks to drink water and stole the tip jar. The transients were last seen heading towards the Carl’s Jr. 

At 8:03 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a drunk in public in the 2400 block of El Camino Real. The report stated that a drunk man had passed out on a set of stairs near the office to the La Vista Motel. There was no report of an arrest.

At 12:56 p.m. Wednesday, deputies assisted a citizen in the 200 block of Mariposa. The informant reported there has been an ongoing issue with her neighbor being mean to her and revving his motorcycle engine to intimidate her. There was no report of an arrest.

At 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a suspicious person near the Via Calandria and Via Colorso intersection. The informant was suspicious of a man walking around Avenida Calandria and suspected he was associated with traffickers who beached a boat on Sunday. 

At 6:55 a.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 600 block of Avenida Victoria. The report stated that a homeless man has passed with a lot of trash around him near the grassy knoll area at the pier. Deputies detained the man after citizens were disturbed. 

At 8:25 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported an assault in the 2400 block of Camino Galeon. The informant stated they were pepper-sprayed after a road rage incident that occurred on Cabot in Mission Viejo. The other party reportedly made contact with Mission Viejo deputies. 

At 2:13 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a disturbance near the Avenida Victoria and El Camino Real intersection. The report stated the informant was upset about an overweight man with white hair who gave them the middle finger at the Red Fox Lounge. Deputies met with the informant in the parking lot.
