CRIME REPORTS: Drunk Woman Turns on Hoses, Stolen Fusion, 7 Eleven Yelling

These are reports of crimes taken from the San Clemente Police Services dispatch log over the past several days.

At 9:04 a.m Tuesday morning, police responded to a suspicious person call at the cross streets of El Camino and Barcelona. There was a female in front of the Ralph’s grocery store yelling at passing customers and banging carts together. There was no reported arrest.

At 10:46 a.m. Tuesday, a woman’s white Ford Fusion was stolen from the Ralph’s grocery store off Vista Hermosa. She had not seen the vehicle for a least 20 minutes. 

At 8:11 p.m. Monday, a caller reported three possible gun shots from the cross streets of Camino De Los Mares and Camino Del Rio. The caller said the shots fired sounded like a shotgun. Police have no suspect information.

At 2:54 p.m. Monday, police responded to a drunk in public 2700 block of Cascadita. A man in his 30’s was stumbling around the DMV parking lot and almost got hit by a drive test applicant. There was no reported arrest. 

At 7:49 p.m. Monday, police responded to a disturbance call on the 1800 block of El Camino Real. There was a large man with a shaved head in 7 Eleven yelling and reusing to leave when asked. The man took off toward north beach before the police could arrive.

At 2:18 p.m. Sunday, police responded to Marblehead Elementary School playground on account of a disturbance call. There were three minors in playground area possibly vandalizing the equipment. There was no reported arrest. 

At 9:14 a.m. Monday, a caller reported a vandalism in progress on the 600 block of Camino De Los Mares. Police arrived and discovered UPS or FedEx box with mail flying around in the air. There was no report of an arrest. 

At 10:33 p.m. a caller reported seeing a drunk driver weaving and swerving around Camino De Los Mares and Calle Aqua. The subject was seen driving a white Sequoia. Police made no report of finding the driver.

At 9:07 p.m. police arrested a white 55 year old female on the 400 block of Avenida Victoria. The woman had been drinking alcohol and was walking across peoples lawns turing hoses on. There were warrants--possibly several--out for the woman and she is currently in custody with a $6,500 dollar bail.
