CRIME REPORTS: Pepper Sprayed Girl, Balcony Urinators

These are various reports selected from the San Clemente Police Services dispatch log throughout the past few days.

At 3:02 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 2400 block of El Camino Real. The report stated that a drunken man around the age of 25 had checked out of a local hotel but refused to leave the property once asked.

At 1:48 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a trespasser in the 100 block of Canada. The informant was reportedly upset about several transient men who were sleeping in an underground parking structure. Deputies responded to the call.

At 1:10 a.m. Monday, a call reported a disturbance in the 2600 block of El Camino Real. Deputies responded to a residence for a second time regarding a loud party where subjects were urinating off the balcony.

At 11:30 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 500 block of Avenida Victoria. There was a loud and out of control party in progress where multiple minors were drinking alcohol and partying.

At 10:17 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a suspicious person in the 300 block of Calle Borrego. The report stated that an off-duty Pasadena police officer caught a man hiding in a bush to spy on his wife inside of their residence. The peeping man was detained and handed over to the deputies.

At 7:11 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 100 block of Alameda Lane. Three male minors were reportedly yelling obscenities from a balcony to guests at the San Clemente Cove Resort. Once a police unit was dispatched there appeared to be no more yelling.

At 7:04 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a suspicious person in a vehicle near the Calle Balandra and Avenida Marejada intersection. The informant was reportedly disturbed by two men who were driving around in the neighborhood.  The men were reportedly “flipping off” and making rude gestures from a white Ford Ranger.

At 9:02 a.m. Sunday, a caller reported a suspicious person in a vehicle in the 200 block of Avenida Califia. The report stated that several subjects were living in a Travel Craft motorhome and were urinating and defecating on a path near the vehicle. The informant was upset because she has to walk on that path.

At 1:09 a.m. Sunday, deputies arrested a 33-year-old man in the 100 block of El Camino Real. A bouncer at Ole’s Tavern had reportedly pepper sprayed a woman inside the bar. The man was taken into custody and has since been released on a bond.

At 11:24 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a disturbance near the Camino De Los Mares and the Camino El Molino intersection. The report stated that at least 10 minors were seen throwing bottles at car and yelling at each other near Roundtable Pizza. It was unknown if there was a fight.
